Chiara & Gord Tie the Knot

Sometimes there are weddings that really just make you wish you could do it all over again and do it the same way... well this was one of those!  This was such an awesome wedding...

I remember getting the message from Chiara & Gord, and they said they were secretly engaged- only their families knew, and they were going to have a secret wedding.  They wanted to elope, but this was the happy medium- having their families there mattered too much!  Did I want to photograph it- absolutely I did!

This was by far the most relaxing and laid back wedding ever.  What made it really fun was that Andy was there too- but not as my assistant, he officiated their ceremony.  It was so fun watching these two, who have so much passion for one another, commit their lives to one another in front of their families.  We then got to go for a walk around Rocky Point and Port Moody, see their friends and family go swimming while we took some photos, and then enjoy Pajos Fish & Chips.  Their wedding cake topped the charts too- ICE CREAM CAKE. 

At the end of September they are having their big reception with all their friends and family and co-workers... but there was something so special and intimate about this wedding. 

Thank you so much Chiara & Gord for having me be apart of your wedding day!  I had such an incredible time, and I'm so glad you guys found each other.  You two have such an incredible future ahead of you, and I really feel like the type of marriage you guys are investing in is one full of partnership, and it will be such an example to so many other couples!  You guys know how to love well- and it is evident by the people in your lives!
